Do you mean bricks or practicing transitions? Sure I did bricks, the above
was just one example of a long week. I think there were probably 3-4 medium
length bricks worked in there during the last two months leading up to the
race. In reality I tried to run a little bit - even if it was just around
the block - almost every time I got off my bike.
As for practicig transitions, if that's what you mean, I just didn't bother.
I had them planned out in my head, but I didn't sit around on saturday
mornings and practice putting my bike shorts on and off. My goal was to
just to finish and shaving 30 seconds off a 14 hour day just didn't seem
worth the effort. I've done enough tris that I knew I could at leasat keep
my wits about me during transition.
