Erm....8 years of cooling is proof of 8 years of cooling...which if you scan
back through the thread is what the discussion is about. Or have I missed

Apparently, the ability to extrapolate from graphic representations of
data. When I look at that line, I see extreme warming, happening
extremely rapidly, and *accelerating*. You somehow conclude from that
graph that there's no such thing as global warming, because of a
variation that does not come close to being as great as the variations
found elsewhere in the timespan... Weird.

What do you think that graph should look like? A perfect asymptote?
