You can take out the lying part by just asking yourself. And answering
honestly...
Quality of play varies all the time, and since there would never be a case
where I would have to bet on a match to save my life I can't answer the
question. Lets just say that given the scorelines at Wimbledon and
Australian Open last year, Nadal would not be a lock for my bet on any
surface. I would certainly bet on Nadal on clay, but I wouldn't be
flabbergasted if Federer beat him (he has done it before after all).
