Say what you will about Rusedski, and believe me I am no fan, but if Murray
said that then that is surely a display of his ego. His job is to represent
his country the best way the elected team coach sees fit...and if that is
with Greg in the team, then Murray should stfu and get on with it. :)
Honestly...professional sports people just get so above their station.
All Murray said was let him earn it .
In saying that I do think Rudeski with his experince would of been a
boon to have in the doubles ...
I dont care who they get there is no one in British team other than
Murray and that puts him in an impossible sitaution of always having
to win against everyone with no backup.
I dont like him much either but hes probably still go killer serve and
enough know how to help Jamie a lot in the doubles or even Murray in
the singles.
Really who else is there - that choker Bodogovic ?
No one with any big time experince like Greg thats for sure..
Agreed. I cannot understand why they wouldn't let Greg at least try to qualify for it. I have no sympathy of these useless lower Brit players and it would teach them a lesson if they were beaten by old Greg. The play-offs next week feature Josh Goodall, Alex Slabinsky, James Ward, Dan Evans, Colin Fleming and Chris Eaton ONLY after Jamie Baker pulled out with an injury! Chris Eaton is the one true fighter Brit I've seen and yet he's only in because Baker was injured!
