Nadal calls for fewer hard courts, reduced season
http://sports.yahoo.com/ten/news;_ylt=AirF1bq6U_D4UAQyuZDuyzo4v7YF?slug=ap-nadal-hardcourts&prov=ap&type=lgns
His problem is that he makes perfect sense. The ATP hates that.
One thing he could to to prevent injuries is to develop a more efficient
style of play that requires less running. Too late for that probably,
but
that is hardly the fault of the ATP.
It's crazy to have a sport as physical as tennis is now with no real
off season. Your comment is just more anti-Nadal garbage.
I'd rather see these athletes on the court instead of out with
injuries or forced to retire from the game earlier than need be
because the ATP wants to squeeze a few more hardcourt
tournaments in.

As for you, you'd like to see Nadal out of the game for good.
I guess I can't blame you, seeing as how he owns your boy in
every way.

Sorry pal, but I made no anti-Nadal statements here. I do agree that it's a
grueling sport but why start changing things now? Just because Nadal is #1
and says we should? Did you come here to complain about it when you saw how
tough hard courts were on Muster's body? Maybe but I doubt it.

At any rate, don't put words in my mouth because I want Nadal to keep
playing and certainly don't want to see him injured. You've got me confused
with someone else maybe.

w2g might have a point though. There's no good reason for not accepting Nadal's point of view...only wrong reasons, imo.
