I'm in an unusual location, due to Christmas. The bug is in my
newsreader.
It can't quote some posts, mostly those originating from GG.

yeah, I am familiar with it. Google should fix it, or people should stop
using it until isn't fixed.

It's OE. Certain characters make it give up trying to quote. Google might be
inserting the characters, but OE should be able to handle them. Other
newsreaders can.
