Can someone here possibly explain why one Xvid .avi file (http://www.megaupload.com/?d=9FKCXER6)
will play on my DVD player but another xvid .avi file (HDTV rip to
xvid)http://www.megaupload.com/?d=EUT8RCRPwon't?
TIA
It seems you have one of these dvd players that can play divx xvid avi
files. If this is true, they usually have an installed chip that
allows them to play these formats. There are many different chips in
the market with different capabilities.
Check the specs of the player, my guess is the resolution of the file
(944x522) could be high for the chip installed in your player.
