Seems to be a serious problem, and looks like it's gonna cost him this
match. He's the polar opposite of Ferrer. Incredible talent, but
physically lacking. Hope I'm wrong, because this kid would be great
for the game.

Umm, he seems to be running just fine. He is also rather young.

He looks utterly exhausted and is a shadow of a player he was in the
first two sets.

clearly you don't know wtf you are talking about.

What exactly is your problem, ***-face? If Nishikori had not suffered
fitness problems he would have beaten Ferrer in straight sets. His
level of play in the first two sets was way above what Ferrer could
handle.

no problem. you don't understand that tennis ebbs and flows. if he
had fitness problems, he wouldn't have been able to beat one of the
most fit players on tour in five sets. now go get your shine box.

I understand tennis ebbs and flows, you pompous little ***.
Nishikori's fall in standard after the first two sets, however, was
entirely down to conditioning. That much should have been obvious to
anyone watching the match. Just read they guys post match interview,
it is clear he was struggling physically. He pretty much says himself
that he abandoned the fourth set to give himself the energy to fight
in the fifth.

Q. How did you get through? How did you get through this fifth set?
What did you keep telling yourself?

KEI NISHIKORI: I kind of like just sort of throw away the fourth set.
I was tired, too, so I just tried to fight in the fifth set.
