Amazing how you don't learn that change is normal. You extrapolate
your take of the current situation to more than a year ahead, yet
the current situation is itself a recent change. Djokovic wins AO,
so you think he'll win everything. Then Nadal wins FO/Wim so now
he'll win everything.
Wrong - I was tipping Djoker for big things last year at the US Open,
you can ask Sao Paulo Swallow if you don't believe me.
It really doesn't matter when. The point is that you expect the current
direction in the game to continue over a long period of time to the point where
you discount the possibility that on just one occasion the player you nominate
for great things might be below his best and his opponent plays well enough to
beat him. That's what happened today - an entirely normal occurrence. Roger
Federer's consistently stellar 2004-07 is the exception to the normal
volatility, but you seem to think that someone always has to dominate. There is
no justification for predicting that a player will win a CYGS unless there is
such a gap between him and his best opponents that he is breezing through every
event even when not at his best. Nadal isn't at that level.
And I changed
my predictions after Nadal won FO not because he won it (he had done
the same the past 3 years, and I wasn't tipping him to win everything
then) but I recognized the big improvements in his game (his
conversion from to an attacking player from a defensive one), and I am
not the only one, Lax, Leon have all seen this. Funny when everyone
was predicting Fed will win the CYGS
Everyone?
and he came close the last couple
of years, I don't remember you getting so excited...
Maybe someone predicted it, but I don't remember anyone plastering the
newsgroup with constant reminders of it.
Rahim is a tool extraordinaire. He's been spamming the ng with
literally hundreds of posts full of Nadalic hyperboles for the last
4/5 weeks and then one Nadal defeat and poof! He's off the ship like
that. An original nutjob.
How soon do you reckon he will jump on the Djoker bandwagon and spam
the ng again?
You pathetic liar, how am I "off the ship" if I am still tipping Nadal
for the USO and the slams next year? Do you even know what that means
- or r u lying again to get a response?
Rahima's "tipping" (Isn't that Whimpy lingo?) has no value. It
"tipped" Djokovic to win CYGS. Bzzt! Wrong! It "tipped" Nadal to rout
Federer in the Wimbledon final. Wrong again! It then "tipped" Nadal to
sweep the HC season. Just proved wrong again.
For someone who has been proven so wrong so many times, generally it
is expected that he would shut his mouth for a while, but not our
Rahima, he is brazen enough to open his own thread about his errors,
just so that people can talk some more about him and his "tippings",
whether they are right or wrong. An attention whore troll if there
ever was one.
Answer the question:
You wrote:

How am I "off the ship"? Either you were lying to get a response, or
you don't know what that means, just like words such as hope, expect
and hate? Which one is it?
Why is the nutjob quoting my entire post as if it proves something?
Who cares whether I was "lying to get a response"? Who cares if Rahima
is "off the ship" or not? Does the world revolve around Rahima? Is
Rahima another drama queen like Rupes? Intriguing...
Add "entire" to the list of words you don't know the meaning of - I
only quoted the portion you were lying about, and you were doing it
intentionally, having had success earlier with the same strategy (when
you said I "hate" Nadal), after another stretch during which I was
ignoring your posts. Anyway, you are proven liar, with limited
comprehension ability, and of course no one has ever accused you of
being the sharpest tool in the box. Not worth anyone's time...
You are just getting irritated because I am calling you on your
trolling. I suggest you take a long break and reflect on your posting
pattern.
No I am getting irritated because you are lying about my position to
get under my skin and don't even have the decency to admit it. You
calling me a troll has nothing to do with it, I would have continued
to ignore you like I have been if it wasn't for your outright lies
that misrepresent my position. But now that I know you are a proven
liar (note, no single argument from you to prove that you were
speaking the truth or even trying to) I will ignore your lies as well.
Pathetic excuse of a human being, that's the only way to define you...
Yes, you bring up a very important tennis-related point, Rahima. Was I
lying when I was talking about RahimAsif's "position"? This surely
will add a lot to the overall understanding of the current state of
tennis.
Hmmm...I think this requires Tier 1 tennis analysis skills...let me
think about it....
I don't care about your position, you twerp. You are a troll who comes
here to make outrageous comments just to get some attention. Now go
and slap yourself 10 times in the face.
