The commentators have suddenly started calling him Jock-ovic instead
of Joke-ovic as he used to be called. Which one is the correct
pronounciation? erdega?

The most closely transliterated version is "joke- ovich" . I heard
something that resembles "jock-ovich" on an internet stream with
emphasis ond J and CK and it's definitelly a rushed anglo version that
doesn't sound very accurate or pleasing

I suspect that the commentators saying "jock-a-vich" have just
invented an arbitrary alternate pronunciation in an attempt to sound
more authentic. It makes a lot more sense to do what FF just did:
consult someone who knows the language.
