Yes, the few incidents I can think of were times when his "jerk" nature came
out and he tanked blatantly for his own purposes. He was also a guy who
could be down in a match or in a streak to a better opponent but he'd always
come back for more, truly believing he could get his revenge. I give this
credit to Chang as well, the best competitor I have ever seen in the last 3
generations but of course, not a GOAT champion.

On the one side you have the players who enjoy a good scrap like
Connors, Agassi, Rosewall and Nadal.

On the other side you have guys who love to win but don't like to mess
up their hair doing so. You'd have to put Federer, Sampras and Borg
into this group. Some guys just don't like to get beaten and bloodied
if that's what it takes to win.

I can't understand it.
