Federer losing a match in GS simply gave a lot of energy to his haters
promoting he is down for good. I'm not sure about this yet.

I can state the facts the way I see them:

1) Federer lost two out of the last three match to Djokovic.
2) Federer had a very close match which he won in USO in three
straight sets.
3) I don't believe Djokovic played any better than he played in USO.
4) Federer didn't seem to be healthy at all in his last match.
5) So, did Djokovic improve that much or Federer declined that much?
who is better now? this will be answered by their next meetings.
6) If Federer was healthy that match, it's wrong to assume that he
won't adjust his game playing Djokovic in the future.
7) Federer is (my opinion) a better play, technically and physically.
8) I see Federer has better chance winning the FO this year.
9) I see Federer is  the favourite to win Wimbledon this year.
10) Djokovic should have a good chance in USO, but I'm wondering how
long it will take his opponents to learn his game and start to give
him trouble.
11) Federer is still the favourite to win the USO.

How Federer will reply back in his next new tournaments, should be a
sign of what to come.
Also I believe he will hire a coach even if he thinks he doesn't need
one,  it's more of a silent war against his opponents.

First of all Rafa is always there like before. Then If Djorkovic
maintains the same AO level play everywhere the rest of the year, Fed
is in a bit trouble. But I seriously doubt on that. on the other hand,
back to AO semi, if Fed's serve had been in a same level of Tipsy's
match, it'd have been a 5 set battle.
You better safely assume that Djorkovic will always overpower Fed off
baseline thereafter. With that said, if Fed is in his top form
especially with serve and ROS on, his chance against Djorkvic is no
less than 50-50 and if Djork is a bit off, Fed will get the better of
him.

I am more worry about his mindset though, like I said before, if he
stays away from legend/history talk and focus on his game, he should
have his share of 2-4 slams within next 3 years. Based on what he has
done so far, he doesn't have to be a favorite entering any slam.
Personally as long as he does right thing (right mind and focus) and
try hard, winning or not winning more slams really doesn't matter
because it doesn't change his status as one of all time greats unless
it is FO. You just hate to see someone who doesn't fulfill his talent
potential by the end of day due to other disturbs such as money, fame
etc.

Another big issue facing him is how to adjust to grass after trying
hard on clay season as i have put in another post, it may reduce his
chance in W. However, so long as he keeps trying hard on clay, I'd
appreciate that and definitely consider his achievement on clay (even
if without a FO title) as an important criterion on his all time
greatness.
