If Fed played Wimby final in that form Rafa woulda won.

That was far and away the best Rafa ever has or ever can play on grass
and guess what ? He lost. He was playing WAY over his head better than
anyone had ever seen him play and its laughable to to know it and that
he will never win W as a result because his over the top best is still
not good enough. I am afraid ever Rod*** would beat him.


Defensible position - hard to imagine either guy playing better than that day. However Rafa is obsessed with winning Wimbledon, is still very young & improving, & grass is very soft on his body so he can go all day. Only thing that can derail him is a couple great players coming up - doesn't look likely in the short term.
