It wasn't the bagel per-se. It was the complete and total
"dismemberment" of Nadal on clay while at the top top peak of his game
as evidenced by the fact that he had won 81 in a row and lost but 1
set on clay all year.

Then, all of a sudden along comes roach free Roger who tears him apart
winning 12 of 14 games including yes, the bagel. It was a totaly
humiliating ignominious defeat of the supposed "king of clay".

It was in fact an arrow through the heart of nadal.

Is that singnificant. Yes it is. You can say it's not all you want but
I assure you it is and it will be apparent to the point where you will
no longer be able to deny it after the FO.

Of course if Roger beats Rafa 62 63 63 or something like that at the
FO I fully expect you to say see ! Rafa almost won ! Ah ha ha ha ha.
