i keep thinking about how quickly Rafael Nadal has risen in the tennis
ranks. He's 20. Owns two Slams. Just made the Wimbledon finals. (He
could have easily gone to a fifth set at W.) Has a dominating H2H
versus Federer.
How could he have easily gone to a fifth set?. Fed was in control of
the set and though he got broken once, didn't seem like he was going to
lose the set.

The rules are different in coulda-woulda land. There Nadal shoulda won
the 2nd set and coulda won the 3rd set and the match woulda gone to a 5th.
Kind of like the coulda-woulda land where Federer shoulda won Dubai in
straights and won Rome and who know what else.
Only a fool thinks Nadal couldn't have beaten Fed in Wimbledon final.
A meaningless assertion. The Whiskerian specialty!
