Help me here. You are saying that should they both reach the final, Fed
will be better than in the past, but Nadal will crush him nonetheless.
Considering it was a close call in Rome, i.e. their last encounter, are
you predicting that Nadal will outperform compared to his usual
standards?
So in your opinion
Fed (1 + %improvementFederer) < Nad (1 + %improvementNadal)???

Yes, given all the variables we need to crunch;

- pressure on Fed going for all 4;
- never won FO;
- his game far less effective on slow clay;
- Nadal will have almost no nerves;
- Nadal is actually getting a lot better & will step up to another level next 2 weeks;


....the most likely outcome is a comprehensive rout for Nadal. I'll be very proud of Roger if he battles through to final, but he wasn't far from losing 1st set 0-6 to a nobody in 1st rd.... if he's a little nervous against a true clown, Nadal will eat him alive.
