Fun time is gone!
Not necessarily. Just do not get stuck in a job you do not enjoy.
Right now, I am in a job where I have no tasks at all ;-) Cant say I am
enjoying it cant say I am not enjoying it either. Getting paid for
nothing, really.
Now as a new grad, you know nothing really except how to learn. Work
for a company where you can "move around" from function to function
for a few years to get as broad experience as possible and then you
will hopefully arrive at the point where for the first time in your
life you will know what it is all about and what you really want to
do.
Once you arrive at that point it will be time to "go for it" for the
next 20 years or so to make your mark in the world. This is the most
important phase. After that, it's mostly resting on one's laurels,
although the fact that one is doing that may not be apparent for a
further 20 years !
Good luck.
If you love what you do, you will be happy and successful.
that is true.
I always tell my kids follow your passion, not the money, and then the
money will follow you.
