Have you tried taking supplements, say, one at a time. By that, I mean taking magnesium for a couple of weeks and then switching to potassium, etc., as a trial?

A blood check assumes your system is in a normal state, which it probably is when you go to the doctor for lab work. You probably don't go in for lab work right after you've been sweating like a horse for two hours. You probably go during the working day, when you've eaten breakfast and/or lunch, and your body has had time to balance everything.

Given that many people can eliminate leg cramps by eating a few bananas, it is likely that these mineral imbalances are temporary and acute, so they wouldn't show in a blood test.
