I've been waking up with shoulder pain. It doesn't hurt while I swim
or
during the day. However, I am worried that it is caused by swimming.
I've been swimming for over 20 years and never had any problems. Also,
I don't seem to put that much stress on my shoulders when i swim. I
still think that it is swimming related. any suggestions as to what to
do?
The simplest thing to do is take a few days off and then ease back into
swimming. Our bodies do change and what worked for you for 20+ years
may require some adjustment to continue to work for you in the future.
Probably best to see a good swimming instructor and get some feedback on
any possible connection between your stroke and your shoulder problems.
