What do you need to see when swimming? I'm blind as a bat without my
glasses, but I take them off to swim. I can still make out the stripe,
and I don't know what else to look at.
I typed "competitive blind swimmers" into Google and found out about
products that can make it nearly unnecessary to see.
Granted, it would be nice to see the clock. I keep my glasses in the
goggles case at the side of the pool for that. I suppose it might be nice
to see the other swimmers too but this gives me an excuse not to get
involved in chit-chat. Also, my wife seems not too eager that I be able
to see the other swimmers at the college pool (which is frequented by coeds).
