SP don't win, but Cruzeiro lose. Ceni's unbeaten run grows.
Lots of self-loathing for Cruzeiro today.

Atlético-MG 0-0 São Paulo
90'. Penalty to Atlético. São Paulo haven't allowed a goal in seven
matches plus 88' in the previous game to the series and this whole
game. Coelho takes it. Rogério Ceni jumps forward just a bit early
and saves it. Now it's 808 minutes without allowing a goal in the
league.
Point for me.
You're a generous man when you say that Rogério Ceni jumped "just a
bit early". Well, it might have been just a bit early, but it was
enough for him to walk half way into the small box. He gets away with
this kind of stuff too often for my tastes.

Grêmio 3-1 Vasco da Gama
[Bustos 9' (FK), Ramon 16', Sandro Goiano 69' - Alan Kardec 14']
Damn. The less said, the better.
Let me do it, then. I imagine you didn't watch this one.
Vasco were just awful. So awful I won't even complain that Grêmio's
third goal happened after a blatant non-called foul commited by Tcheco
on Leandro Amaral and that Jorge Luiz's red card (after we just got up
a man) was a soft one to say the least - in fact, it was Tcheco who
fouled him, not the opposite. Grêmio's win was much deserved, though.
