He was destroyed by injuries but the decline was somewhat gradual. He
scored something like 15 goals in his last season with Liverpool,
which is not bad, and then he did the same with Leeds a year later.


and to see exactly how far he has sunk, sydney fc tried to sign him. He
turned them down, understandable.

if anyone is interested they eventually signed Juninho (ex middlesbrough)
who had a 1-0 loss in his first game against central coast mariners in the
Z league
