I initiated a chat with my co-worker Marcy about the weather. I'll ask

Wrong, it shows us that you are a liar incapable of engaging in a
honest discussion. Let me hold your hand and walk you through this:
You asserted that I was making unfair judgements on Aulas based on some
"biased Engliah media reports". In response I posted a link to a very
reputable news source which quoted Aulas's ACTUAL WORDS. Some of those
words were:

"England have won the Olympics but Chelsea will not get Michael
Essien," he added, referring to London's victory over Paris in the race
for the 2012 Games.
"They thought we were just country bumpkins with our berets and a
baguette in our pockets. That's not the way it works at Lyon," Aulas
told reporters.

Words that clearly indicate that he was putting some kind of ridiculous
French pride vs. English pride twist on a mere business transaction.
Even if you choose to take the stand that those words weren't peculiar,
at least be half a man and admit that it wasn't some English media bias
but rather his own words which led me to my conclusion.
