i posted b4 about nothing when you turn the key in this thing. i found
out the speed assurance cables were bad from the post. i unplugged the
red kill switch and then it ran like a champ. It worked fine right
after that and when i ran it for awhile, i could turn it off walk away
for like 5 hrs come back and it would start right up. even bumping
around in the back of the truck after i got it running at the house,
it take it off and it would start fine. but everytime i let it sit
overnight and try to start it again it takes just tinkering with
connections forever and making sure there all good and taking things
off cleaning them and putting them back on in the warm garage.
yesterday it took me 4 hrs of tinkering in order to get it running
again. i feel that that shouldnt be right. everytime i try to start it
i make sure the volatage is over 12.2V as well so i no thats not it. i
also run the fuel pump by jumping it on the relay to warm it up and or
just to make sure thats it working. Is this just because its cold or
is it not getting the rpm signal to turn it on? is this a case of bad
wiring? bad grounds? also just today a friend hooked up my battery
after it was charged and hooked it up backwards... i cant yell it was
7 o clock and it was dark, will this have burned out my efi unit or
any other thing? it made a buzzing sound when he did it and it was
only for like a second. he was definately punished for this lol. any
ideas? please help
.
