I've made up a GPS map of our trails in the LH. I didn't add custom icons
though and I have to give you a lot of credit for that idea. I just used
the standard ones to make intersections. They don't look as pretty but have
been functional. I printed a couple of E size plots for the snowmobile club
back in 97 or so. It's been a while. I used a Garmin 45xl for that effort.
Since then I've collected new data with a newer Magellan SporTrak Topo unit
but haven't printed off the E plot just because the other one is still
accurate enough. Like you said, much better than hand drawn for sure.
