Excellent video - right on the money.

Also, if you ride ice:

- Always wear a floater suit. Floaters make it much easier to get horizontal so you can get out, and they are designed to drain water so you warm up faster once you're out.

- Always have ice picks, on a cord around your neck so you don't have to remove gloves or unzip pockets to use them.

- Always carry at least 50' of rope and a spare drive belt. Tie the rope to the belt and throw it to someone who has fallen in. The belt is heavy enough to throw a long way so you don't risk falling in yourself.
