Re: ***Sigh*** Time for New Boots!

Well fwiw - I just ordered a pair of the Hinged Jacksons - should be in in
another month. They only come in suede for the men's. Hey, anything that
reduces wear on these old bones (well anything other than a stricter diet)
is worth a try. I also ordered the Ultima blade system. In addition to
looking cool :) its only $100 for another pair of blade runners. This way,
I'll be able to get sharpenings at leasure and only have to give him my
runners. I was sure it was $100 per runner but its not, its $100 for the
pair! This should also help me in the transition to the new skates as I
already skate on the Ultima Protege blade and the freestyle blade has the
same (8') radius. The boots cost more but heck I skate almost every day so
I guess that I deserve giving them a try.
