Since no one else has mentioned this...
March-April issue of AARP magazine has 2 page spread "Romance on Ice"
featuring 5 couples over 50 who ice dance for fun or competition, who
all met while skating.
(The magazine goes to members of the American Association of Retired
Persons/People. You must be 50 or older to join.)
As far as I can tell this article is not on the mag's website.

I'll keep an eye out.
Forever getting adverts from AARP; they must have the world's best
mailing lists, all sorted by age, 'cause my wife and I each started
getting flyers from them within a few weeks of turning 50.

I got my first one at age 39. Lucky me :-(
When I finally joined a few weeks before my birthday, my son said I
was much too happy about it. I told him it was because receiving the
mailings was no longer an insult. --To a youthful looking person like
me :-)
