Re: Back spin with free foot tuck



I started naturally doing that about a year ago. Right away I noticed
how it put me on an outside edge. I never thought about where I was on
the blade though, I thought it had something to do with the free hip
position.

Have you ever seen the back spin with the free leg extended out of the
circle, crossed over and behind the skating leg? That's a cool
position. I did try it and it requires lots of security on the spinning
foot.
