Oh yes, dance coaches drill, no other word for it, like joining the
military :-). I now understand the process of how dancers get to look
like they do. And I assume that learning the ability to hold what you
have already been *told* is a good posture helps with the confidence
to say "I Rock!" which is where the thread started.

Good words, we should ideally always feel that way. But that is a
hard thing to learn to do, and something that must I guess be learned
in parallel with skating itself. The mental side to this sport is
interesting. Your "I Rock" statement today was an inspiration to us
all in that respect.

I know didly squat about programs, but I shared the ice with a lady
today who skated the most beautiful interpretive piece. It was not
athletic skating at it's limits by any means, but looked very well
done indeed. The whole rink stopped and watched this one, and many
skaters applauded afterwards. Defined rocking in my book!
