As I am cause I love her look and her athleticism, but she should be doing better than 5th cause she is so strong. imho I'm much more a fan of the powerful gals than I am the Mao's/Kim's/Zang's of the world.

Happy for you!

NOT (Baldwin that is)! But I think she meant that there were NO clean programs - not just the US. I still can figure out how S & S won?

Can't argue with that at all!

Well Tanith and Ben were favored as the only medalists at this years event. But like Tanith said tonight on the US TV broadcast - she has to get back to enjoying bringing a good skate instead of letting the thoughts of medals creep into her head. They had a horrible year last year and lost ground and they know it. Not taking anything away from Virtue/Moir - love to watch them give me magic on the ice.

Kimmie is a great kid and I feel for her, but do not dispute her placement at all. But she did look stronger tonight than she did in St. Paul so that's a good sign. She may never win another worlds, but she has won one and how many skaters from today can say that? After today - 3 and one didn't finish at all.

Timothy did the best he could with what he had at the time, but I don't want to see him back either. Wonder what he's doing these days?

I'm not dissing the Americans at all cause this is a really crazy year for them, but what's totally wiping me out is the horrendous judging. It's totally abysmal.
As to the folks trying to "explain" stuff to me like I haven't been around for a zillion years - I do understand (sorta) the COP and now have looked at the protocols which went up today for the pairs and the ladies. If you fall on a jump you get a -GOE and a 1 point deduction, but look at those top gals who fell and tell me how in an interrupted program you can get the marks on the "presentation side" that you do? It's still who they want to be on top. My gawd look at the French Ice Dancers this morning. They IMPROVED on their lead with a very lack luster performance that was in no way technically better or "all other" better than your beloved Canadians.
I'm still going to watch the rest of worlds on line, but I can't say it's any fun. Maybe Takeshi will have the skate of his life and make me smile again :-)
Sorry I'm so sour, but I think it's pretty ugly at this point.
