Pairs short

I'm quite surprised that there have been so few posts about the pairs' short yesterday evening. The only ones I have read so far dealt with Inoue & Baldwin's historic throw triple axel.
I had hoped to read some positive comments about Petrova & Tikhonov in this forum at last. I think their short programme yesterday was wonderful - I also enjoyed Totmianina & Marinin's short and many other ones. I don't suppose everyone here will share my enthusiasm, but the word "boring", which, unfortunately, is so often associated with this pair in this newsgroup (as well as with Eltsova & Bushkov, I loved the free programme with which they won the world championships in 95 or 96) is definitely unjustified as far as their performance yesterday is concerned. Did you get to see them at all on Canadian or US TV or did they "chack" them?

By the way, this is my first attempt at posting, I hope nothing strange will happen (like the same post appearing ten times or something similar) :-)
