Alas, I kept betting that the stupid ref would finally see Lord
McCaw's eyes being raked by the dirty coward Rougerie, but apparently

Difficult to imagine ANY ref ot TJ seeing Rougeries dabble in McCaw's
eyes.  But let's not allow that to stand in the way of a good whine!

The fact that this thread has kept on for so long speaks volumes. I
would have used the word 'reams' but know that just leads to Kiwis
disowning a certain Nausian.

I don't remember this much bitterness after the 2003 or 2008 finals.

If I get the gist of it the french are upset because they lost and blame
the ref for not stopping the cheating kiwis and the kiwi's are pissed
off because the French didn't roll over and let the AB demonstrate how
much better they really are than the rest of the world, and of course
the the ref didn't stop the french cheating and foul play cheating.

Basically it's the refs fault.
