Some thoughts on last nights game

Up front the AB's had it all over the Aussie scrum, only by the grace of
Joubert were the Aussie pack not whistled off the park for consistently
collapsing. All taught by Al Baxter of course.
At lineout time, the AB's were just adequate, not a lot of contesting going
on which was an odd decision by Robbie. The much maligned Jason Eaton even
pinched a couple of lineouts toward the end of the game.
In the loose the AB's were supreme, they hunted like a pack. Unified and
ferocious, bloody brilliant. Great body positions and real intensity.
Which gave Cowan an armchair ride. Obviously under instructions to play the
game at pace.
Carter a lot deeper in the pocket, for the first time in a long time backs
were hitting the ball at pace. Even Toeava had a good game with his hands.
Corey Jane may well be the next Muliaina.
Feel afraid Baa Baas, feel very afraid.

Cheers
Stephen
