It's possible that was because they weren't very good shirts in the
first place. Polycotton should be fine, cotton can be a pretty horrible
when you're wet through. Give Peveril a shot, if they don't work out,
you've got a season to find some all cotton shirts.

We're not a rugby team looking for shirts to wear on the field in the
pouring rain, we're a morris team looking for heavy shirts to wear when
it's cold and windy and we're standing around outside pubs :-)
