Agreed. It might work ok if you've got a club competition like the
Aussies, but it's a terrible plan for English teams.

There is more than one country playing in the Six Nations, not just
England.

You don't say.

I'm happy to say whether I think it's a great idea for French, Welsh,
Irish, Scottish or Italian teams, but I've got no idea how many games
their players have to play each year.

I think Mr.Hog was trying to bait folk with his "who will Wales play"
comment, and when that failed he had to leap onto an innocent remark
about
respective seasons. He obvioulsy wasnt too upset that you missed the
other
Tri Nations teams.
I do hope I aren't tarring him with the Nigel Evans brush, but hey you
never
know!

Mr.Will

OK, but doesn't this whole notion strike you being yet another phoney
"made for money" event of the kind our game's administrators seem to be
so much in love with (i.e the GP playoffs, etc.). At the same time, they
are whining about the problems of having a Lions tour to SA.

Sometimes I wonder whose game this is.

William Clark

I think the idea is great in principle, but I honestly believe, with
respect to the other nations, that they are wanting an extra test v
England or France for the tri Nations winners. Just in terms of audience
and appeal for the ££.

Who are you meaning by "they"?

Cheers, aMtt
