Am surprised by how much better the English and French get on these
days when it comes to rugby. I always used to think of the the UK,
Australia and NZ as being on roughly the same wavelength (and that the
EU, and Britain's relationship with France, was an artificial
construct solely to prevent war). But these days, we have bugger-all
common with the Aussies and Kiwis other than the words we use.
Culturally a mile off. So much for the Commonwealth !

Yes, we've moved onwards and upwards. You showed NZ how little you
regarded our ties when you allowed France to shaft us over EU and
Rainbow Warrior. This despite the fact we continued to support you
through such mis-adventures as the embarrassing Malvinas episode. Hey,
we learn slowly but we do learn.


I think you'll find it's still called the Falklands. They lost. Convincingly as I recall.
