Dear commentary teams,
I am watching the rugby because I like rugby. I am not watching the rugby to
listen to you. Stop trying to ENTERTAIN. When the ball is in play I would be
quite happy not to hear your voices at all. When the ball is not in play, if
you have to say something to justify your collective existence, say
something insightful. Don't crack jokes, don't namedrop, don't fucking talk
about yourselves.
And specifically to Channel Ten Australia: stop making racist jokes about
every team and country that Australia plays that isn't 100% white
English-speaking Anglo-Saxon. You're an insult to your profession and you do
nothing but reinforce every stereotype about Australians being jingoistic
racist bigots.

It's a far better commentary on the radio. Just turn the TV down and
try it.
