Don't tell me, Russia's agreed to heat the clubhouse, Japan is
sponsoring the ball boys, Canada's providing the ice for the post-
match drinkies and the slush fund has been set up in Switzerland.

Any ideas why this should be? I had this odd idea that NZ was eco-
centric what with them sinking Greenpeace ships and all...

They were probably objecting that the conditions weren't stringent enough. The Clark From The Black Lagoon did recently announce that New Zealand would be carbon-neutral in 20 years or something like that.
