The three captain nominees should be Buck, Eales and Fitzy.
It shouldn't go to Eales. A freakishly good player and a leader in that sense, but I've always had reservations about his captaincy. You only have to look at how Queensland went with him as captain - not well enough. I think McQueen as coach made Eales as captain.
And I know this will be bloody heresy for some, but I reckon Fitzy was overrated.
Bring back Buck as captain! is my vote.
