Anyone know how long the longest kick is?
I was reading a piece about an ex-AFL player, now playing NFL as a
specialist punter, no field goals, no place kicks, only punting (earning
over US$1M/year). He said his range with an AFL ball was 95 yards!!! In
modern speak that equates to about 87 metres. With a NFL ball he can only
manage 77 metres.
How does this stack up to Union? Even the good kickers only seem to
manage
about 60-65 metres.
AFAIK AFL balls are about 2/3rds lighter, but way more pressurised, so
longer kicks are to be expected. Dunno about Aussie balls though.
[baby-faced innocent expression] Matua, any idea?

What's the problem Dickman, Aussie balls, what balls???
It's like bees round a honey pot, isn't it?
