Yes of course. And I bet you were posting exactly the same thing here
when Mike Catt, Stuart Abbott, Henry Paul, Matt Stevens, Mark Van
Gisbergen et al were selected.
Where's the rule that says you're only allowed to identify yourself as
one nationality anyway? Who says he can't be Fijian AND Australian?
Later,
Sean
Abott, Lol - English mothers
Stevens - English Father
Catt - English parents
Henry Paul - English grandparents - useless dwarf should have stayed in
league
Van Gisbergen - residency - shouldn't be allowed
so that's 6 in total - and half of them have a pittance of caps between
them. I think it may take other nations a bit longer to do their list.
Well done Simon, you've managed to re*** a point I didn't make. We
were talking about what nationality a player 'regards himself as'.
A bit harder to address I admit, but go on, give it a go.
Later,
Sean
oddly placed wasn't it. I'd say that Lol considers himself English,
Catt and Abbott probably consider themselves both, although it probably
took Catty a while. Stevens is a Saffer with a penchant for Welsh
songs. I'd be pretty certain that V-G and Paul would regard themsleves
as Kiwi.
