Id say that the chance of it being overturned or reduced is precisely
nil. What message would it send out? Thoughts? I think he was overly
harshly dealt with and he paid a price for his preening earlier in the
year. Lucky old Welsh though : a good excuse for not continuing their
new dawn.

He may get a reduced punishment - perhaps a few weeks off if he's lucky and be able to play until the hearing but that won't benefit wales much as he's already a week into the 10 weeks and I doubt a new hearing would be at least a week away. There's no way he'll get off though unless there was a grssy knoll nearby.

So Moody get six weeks for beating the *** out of a Samoan who had
done nothing to him and Henson gets 10 weeks for elbowing an Italian
who was clambering all over him off the ball. It should be reduced to
stopping his pocket money for a week and make him spend all Sunday in
Church.

Moody fliled aimlessly and did no significant damage (hardly beating the *** out of him by any standards) and nor was he likely to, OTOH Henson's elbow badly broke moreno's nose. In veiw of the clampdown this season on violence henson was bound to get at least 8 wks.
I appreciate you have a hard on for henson, countryman and all that, but you must admit his elbow was exactly the kind of thing that needs to be addressed and a substantial ban is deserved. IMHO Evans deserved longer than henson as his was calculated and sneaky.
As for the pocket money, not a bad idea but spending the day in church is not a punishment. Perhaps fake tan should be put on the list of performance enhancing substances, with all the crap in it it must do something else apart from brown. That'll really hurt him and probaly endear more him to the supporters.
