You don't say. It's an interesting point of Usenet etiquette that pointing out a spelling error (like embarresment, for example) is considered bad form and a sure way to get flamed, but simple counting errors, which are made by everyone at some time are fair game.

This is probably because the NG pioneers were all scientists, engineers and programmers, for whom mathematicians are next to God. For me genius can be seen in the works of Lennon, Van Goch, Wittgenstein, Dafydd ap Gwilym, Fanny Trollop, but not in the scribblings of over-hyped bean counters.


Math is rather important.
