Listen Kieran, Apparently you have expressed about everything that you
think I would benefit from, and still contributed nothing that wasn't
already known by me.
So everything I've posted you already knew? Well then, for someone who
has such a good understanding of physics, you certainly do post a lot
of misinformation and erroneous statements.
Unless you learn something new, I have no further
use for you, I've stopped asking you questions in case you haven't
noticed,
I noticed and celebrated. I was saddened to see your useless poke into
this current discussion (which I'll point out, has gone through several
mistakes, comments, and corrections without degrading into an
"argument").
but I appreciate the effort. So continue to be insulting if
I went into the most recent chain of posts with you categorically
avoiding any insults, Paul. I really wanted to have a level headed
discussion with you about how you think about ergometers and why. I
saw mistakes in some things you said about physics and ergometers and
tried to help you understand why they were mistakes. Your ego couldn't
take this, apparently. Either that or you just take great pleasure in
turning discussions into arguments. I guess another possibility is
that I am absolutely hopeless at explaining physics, and only confused
you. If that's the case I appologize to you and the group for even
trying.
Any disparaging remarks I made toward you were either in jest with the
requisite ascii face, or later in the discussion after you had already
dragged us into the mud, so to speak.
you want to be, when you finally figure out what has been argued about,
it will be interesting to see how you react.
Again, I was trying to discuss, not argue. I'm sorry you saw it as an
argument.
In the mean time, basically saying "To go faster you must increase your
speed." is fascinating.
I never said that, and I don't think what I did say was particularly
fascinating.
Are you still claiming to be 12 feet old?
As long as you think adding 14kg to an erg on slides makes it more like
a real boat because of the 14kgf of drag on a real boat, then yes I am
12 feet old. I guess you'll claim that you never said that, but the
records show you did write it, whether or not you meant it.
