Sargent and Burton have been defunct for many years now as you have
probably gathered.

The S & B boats were manufactured in Sydney in a shed on the Parramatta
River in a suburb called Abbotsford. The old shed is gone and is now
the home of Sydney Boys High School Rowing who built a new shed on the
site.

There are still S & B boats occasionally in use today by various clubs
in Sydney although they are becoming less and less as time goes by.

have a website www.race1.com.au you can get the contact details from
the website.

There are one or two people there whom I believe used to be employees
of S & B.
