Just goes to show the lengths rowers will go to to avoid messing up
their outing schedule. Heel straps broken? Bowball not secure? Seat
broken - nick one from another boat. Dead body on landing stage - step
around it. Same thing happened to us at Llandaff (UK - Cardiff) on two
occasions, everyone carried on boating while we waited for the body
wagon to show up, body covered with tarp...
.
