At the regatta I help to organise, first rule (which is pretty common
in the UK) states that no competitor may enter more than 2 events and
that clubs must advise the organisers if they are doubling or indeed
trebling up on equipment
Then its down to an old fashioned time table board with entries written
on card (marked if there are any clashes per above) which are then
placed in the timetable and moved and moved until the racing timetable
looks set
.
