This is happening everywhere. Health insurance is going sky high.
My wife's plan was changed. It now covers less, but costs almost twice the price out of her paycheck. So, we switched to the plan at my work.
I just got a letter from management warning us that we may soon see increases in the payroll deduction. Catch 22.
I hope Obama finds a way to fix this...

nearly DOUBLED my monthly rate from $376 to over $600! Not one claim
except for a couple of blood tests. My big crime -- I turned one year
older and advanced to a higher age bracket. They admitted that they
are hearing it from a lot of their customers about this. Somebody tell
these guys that this is NOT the time to get folks ticked off! Obama is
trying to pass something that will eventually put them all out of work
and they certainly aren't winning any supporters with this kind of
garbage!
Gotta wonder how much prices would go down if we stopped subsidizing the cost of pharmaceutical research and let other nations pay their fair share.
I'm really, REALLY getting tired of the concept that we need to send our jobs and our money overseas to help "developing nations," sign "free trade agreements" that destroy the jobs of many American workers, and then partially pay for their medical coverage to boot. If drug X costs 10 bucks a dose here, it should cost 10 bucks a dose there. If they want to compete with us financially, it's time for them to get off the teat.
