No kiddin'. Sounds exactly like a tragic country song:
Two long-time friends, almost like brothers, remembering old times.
They both get plowed, get into a fight. One guy pulls out a knife,
accidently slashes the other guy's wrist. He leaves his friend on the
ground but later calls another friend to check up on him. Downs six
more shots and goes out driving. Gets pulled over by a cop because
the car he's driving has a blown-out tire. Charged with a DUI, he
soon finds out in jail that his friend died because of the knife
wound. He's charged with his murder as well...
